Native of Dresden, married, one daughter, owner of IKARUS Steuerberatung with tax offices in Berlin and Dessau-Roßlau.

I gained my first experience in national and international tax law in 2003 in the law firm Lemoine-Duvalin the French port of Brest. In 2004 I extended this knowledge at Duthilleul & Associés SA in Paris and expanded my skills in the field of auditing.

In Germany, my professional career took me first to Ernst & Young AG in Hamburg  and then to MAZARS GmbH,

where I worked in auditing and tax consulting from 2006 to 2013. The MAZARS Group is a company with an international sphere of activity and branches in several dozen countries.

After the birth of my daughter, I founded the IKARUS Tax Consultancy with tax offices in Dessau-Roßlau and Berlin and have been advising clients in all tax matters ever since. Against the background of my diverse experience and knowledge in consulting, I also advise my clients on numerous business management issues – at the IKARUS Tax Consultancy Berlin and Dessau-Roßlau.

Studies with an international touch

After graduating from high school in Lower Saxony, I started studying business administration at the Carl von Ossietzky University in Oldenburg with a focus on law. The additional legal qualification was highly recommended due to the increasing number of laws governing the economics sector. After my undergraduate studies, I was drawn to Brittany for two years as part of the Franco-German dual diploma programme – an innovative offer from the university in view of the growing European economic union. 1300 kilometres away, at the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce in Brest, I concentrated my studies on auditing/finance. Thereafter, I wrote my diploma thesis in Germany in the field of tax law. The tax consultant examination followed in 2009.
